Thomas Owen purchased the first car in
Caernarfonshire that was registered as a
"Hackney Carriage" in 1914, CC1016 but he did not finish with horse drawn carriages until 1924. My Mother and Father who were married on January 1st 1924 were the last to be conveyed in the coach for their wedding.

Thomas Owen was also the first in Caernarfon to have a Motor Hearse

Prynodd Thomas Owen y car cyntaf i gael ei gofrestru yn Sir Gaernarfon fel "Hackney Carriage" yn 1914, CC1016 ond ni roddodd y gorau i'r ceffylau hyd 1924. Priododd fy Nhad a Mam ar Ionawr 1af 1924 a nhw oedd y diwethaf i gael defnyddio y goets ar gyfer y briodas.

Thomas Owen, hefyd oedd y cyntaf yng Nghaernarfon i gael Hers Fodur.
